När Carol bjöd in till denna blog hop som skall handla om diamanter, kunde jag inte motstå.
Men sedan började jag fundera, diamanter, har jag någon idé om vad jag kan sy. Jag kanske inte har sytt diamanter, men jag har placerat half-square triangels i form av en diamant. Då tänker jag på en duk som jag gjorde mönster på en duk till Rikstäcket. Jag kallade duken Inte äkta diamanter.
When I was invited by Carol to this blog hop To be a diamond, I couldn't resist to participate. Then, I didn't think I have ever sewn diamond shaped blocks. But for the winter issue of the magazine for the Swedish Guild Rikstäcket, I made a pattern where the half squares form diamonds.
It was an easy way to use a charm pack with several solid colours.
Visst är det diamanter?

Även den lilla i mitten är väl en diamant?

Jag hade en charmpack med svagt mönstrade färgglada tygbitar som jag ville leka med tillsammans med ett ljusbrunt bottentyg. Denna gång skulle det bli en löpare.
I took a charmpack in my stash with small pattern and of course with bold colours which I will play with together with a light brown fabric.
Det blev ett litet annorlunda utseende med det ljusbruna bottentyget, men de klara färgerna gifte sig bra ihop med det ljusbruna tyget.
I think the out coming was good.
Nu har jag visat mina diamanter. Det är spännande att se vad alla andra har hittat på i denna bloghop.
